Role Overview

The Finance Consultant is a key member of our support team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systems. This role requires effective collaboration in a remote environment, with availability during European business hours.

About the Role

  • Provide first and second line support for customers, meeting service level agreements and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Create functional solutions based on defined business requirements, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure application fixes and changes meet business needs and are delivered on time.
  • Proactively manage problems to reduce incident frequency and impact on customers' businesses.
  • Support junior consultants with functional expertise, contributing to team success by identifying and driving process improvements.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships between Global Support teams and Redfaire group stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely communication on issue status and prioritization, maintaining transparency throughout the process.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years Oracle JD Edwards E1 Finance experience in a support or implementation role, with expertise in all core finance modules.
  • Experience of JD Edwards versions up to and including EnterpriseOne 9.2, with a strong understanding of GL, AR, AP.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly and confidently to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A highly driven and self-motivated individual with a proactive approach, strong commitment to delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously, with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • A strong team player with excellent collaboration skills, initiative, clear communication, and accountability.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • JD Edwards World Software experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A highly driven and self-motivated individual with a proactive approach.
