Job Title: Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive to join our finance team in Pune, India.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to challenges. They will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and performing bank and credit card reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Process:
    • Manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Pass journal entries, including adjustments, accruals, and provisions.
    • Analyze and reconcile account balances.
  • Reconciliation & Auditing:
    • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
    • Reconcile payment gateway receipts to ensure accuracy.
    • Audit vendor invoices for errors and compliance.
  • Accounts Payable & Vendor Management:
    • Process and validate vendor invoices for timely payments.
    • Maintain vendor payment schedules and accurate records.
  • Accounts Receivable & Billing:
    • Issue and manage customer sales invoices.
    • Monitor receivables and maintain aging reports to ensure timely collections.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
    • Maintain and organize accurate financial records.
  • Operational & Ad-Hoc Activities:
    • Support daily financial operations essential for business continuity.
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • CPA qualification or at least two CPA subjects cleared.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Learning attitude with a proactive approach to challenges.
