Teaching Opportunity in Physiotherapy

The role of a physiotherapy professor involves imparting knowledge and guiding students in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program. This entails providing them with the right skills, confidence, and expertise to excel in the healthcare sector.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Subject Delivery: Teach physiotherapy subjects such as anatomy, kinesiology, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy through both theoretical and practical sessions. Utilize relatable examples and interactive methods to enhance understanding and student engagement.

  • Mentorship: Regularly monitor student performance and provide personalized guidance to address academic challenges, resolve doubts, and foster motivation. Offer timely interventions to support academic and behavioral growth.

  • Cultivating a Supportive Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and interactive classroom atmosphere that encourages open communication, participation, and continuous improvement. Encourage feedback and adapt teaching strategies to cater to diverse student needs.

  • Assessment and Progress Tracking: Conduct assessments, maintain records of attendance, performance, and feedback, and ensure consistent communication with the academic team for student progress updates.

  • Compliance with Academic Standards: Adhere to institutional policies, uphold training quality, and continually work on self-improvement to provide students with an exceptional learning experience.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualification: BPT or MPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy or Master of Physiotherapy)
  • Experience: 1+ year in teaching or working as a physiotherapist
  • Skills: Excellent communication, Passion for teaching, Friendly and patient with students, Basic computer and tech skills
