Job Overview

The position of Liferay Platform Developer is open to skilled professionals who can design, develop, and implement innovative solutions using the Liferay Digital Experience Platform. As a key member of the IT Department, you will be responsible for creating new features, enhancing existing ones, and ensuring timely support for our websites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new features and change or enhance existing ones for our websites
  • Ensure timely BAU (Business As Usual) support
  • Implement Liferay DXP solution in adherence to mandated guidelines
  • Review design documentation, technical architecture, and software development best practices
  • Establish best practices in user access and server management, log management, storage, access management, and security
  • Review server architecture, deployment topology, network architecture, and ensure Liferay 7.4 DXP Server administration experience on Linux platform

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Liferay DXP solution
  • Strong knowledge of Liferay portlets-based application packaging and deployment in a clustered environment
  • Experience with performance resiliency and disaster recovery tests and ensuring 24X7 availability
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, bootstrap, JSP, JWT, and integration of APIs
  • Understanding of J2EE, Hibernate, Springboot, and working with Liferay APIs in headless architecture
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL database, Apache Tomcat server, and Elastic Search

Skills and Qualifications

  • Liferay Digital Experience Platform 7.4
  • Spring boot, Spring, Java, REST API
  • Angular or React JS GIT
  • Good SQL/PL-SQL querying skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • GIT
  • Agile methodology
