Backend Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned backend professional to design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design secure, high-performance backend services & APIs that meet business requirements
  • Implement server-side logic, databases & data storage solutions using Python, Java, Go, or Rust
  • Optimize database schemas, queries & indexes for efficiency and scalability
  • Diagnose & resolve performance bottlenecks; implement caching & load balancing strategies
  • Ensure backend security against common threats (SQL injection, XSS, etc.) and monitor system reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation
  • Mentor junior developers & ensure coding best practices and standards adherence
  • Develop & run unit, integration & performance tests to validate system functionality
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Go, or Rust)
  • Strong experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Expertise in RESTful API design and implementation
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture & containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of Git, version control & branching strategies

This is a senior-level position requiring extensive experience in backend development and system design. Preferred qualifications include experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, IaC tools like Terraform / Ansible, and exposure to frameworks such as Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Go Micro.
