We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives in our chemical research and development team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in managing lab operations, providing critical support for scale-up and plant commissioning, and seamlessly transitioning new products from the lab to full-scale commercialization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Reduction & Process Improvement: Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process optimizations for existing products. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to troubleshoot process issues, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement on key projects to ensure cost competitiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve product quality.
  • Data Management & Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely data entry for all R&D activities. Prepare comprehensive documentation, including experimental protocols, reports, and regulatory submissions. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data management.
Qualifications
  • A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in a fine chemicals industry R&D setting is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in data management and lab safety is necessary.
Skills
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills are required.
  • Expertise in Design of Experiments (DoE) for process optimization is a must.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities are necessary.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.
