We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Chemical Research & Development team as a Senior Research Scientist. The ideal candidate will be a key player in driving cost reduction and process improvement initiatives, managing lab operations, and providing critical support for scale-up and plant commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Product Development: Lead the development of new products from concept to commercialization by designing and executing experiments to assess the feasibility and scalability of new products.
  • Scale-up & Plant Support: Drive scale-up activities to ensure a smooth transition from lab to pilot plant and full-scale production, providing technical support during plant commissioning and ongoing operations to troubleshoot challenges and optimize processes.
  • Data Management & Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely data entry for all R&D activities, prepare comprehensive documentation including experimental protocols, reports, and regulatory submissions, and develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data management.
Qualifications
  • A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a fine chemicals industry R&D setting.
  • Strong proficiency in data management and lab safety.
Skills
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Expertise in Design of Experiments (DoE) for process optimization.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
