Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Cyber Security Lead to safeguard our company's assets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in identifying and mitigating threats, developing incident response plans, and implementing security protocols.

The role requires expertise in operating systems (Windows, Linux, Hypervisors), SIEM tools, IDAM, PIM/PAM, breach attack simulation, micro-segmentation, and vulnerability scanning solutions.

As a Cyber Security Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Leveraging existing cybersecurity tools and open-source tools to discover threat agent actions.
  • Identifying potential threats and mitigation strategies to enable proactive defense mechanisms.
  • Designing and implementing a security incident response process.
  • Acting as the primary control point during significant information security incidents, managing incident response plans, and generating detailed reports.
  • Proposing the implementation of key information security initiatives, plans, practices, and tools to management.
  • Supporting approved information security projects, internal/external security audits, internal audits, application security assessments, and reviews.
  • Detecting and responding to cyber security threats and implementing remediation controls.
  • Performing GRC assessments on IT infrastructure and applications and preparing plans to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Hardening endpoints, networks, and servers.
  • Managing security compliance for end points, networks, servers, databases, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Cyber Security.
  • Strong technical skills relevant to Information Security, including SIEM, IDAM, PIM/PAM, breach attack simulation, micro-segmentation, and vulnerability scanning solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge and deep understanding of complex network and endpoint security principles and concepts.
  • Practical knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Hypervisors).
  • Detailed experience with vulnerability scanning solutions.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and understand their remediation.
  • Ability to assist with root cause identification for incident management.
  • Acquaintance with Information Security Industry standards/best practices and relevant regulations (SSAE16, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GLBA, FISMA, NIST, ISO27000, CobiT, ISF, OWASP, SANS).
  • Proficient analytical, technical research, and detail-oriented skills.
Employment Terms

This is a full-time position requiring availability to work on-call whenever required.

Location: Gurgaon

Work days: 6 days a week from office
