Middleware Integration Specialist

Role: Middleware Integration Specialist

Location: Hybrid

Type: Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled integration specialist to design, develop, and support robust middleware solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining integration flows using IBM Integration Bus (IIB). You will work closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to deliver seamless communication between diverse systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, Test, and Deploy Integration Flows
  • Develop and Maintain Message Flows, ESQL, JavaCompute Nodes, and Other Integration Components
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Architects
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues Related to Middleware and Integration Components
  • Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Monitor and Optimize Performance of Integration Solutions
  • Document Design, Development, and Operational Procedures
  • Work with Other Middleware Technologies and Tools as Needed
  • Participate in Code Reviews and Ensure Adherence to Best Practices and Coding Standards
  • Support Production Deployments and Provide Post-Deployment Support

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience as an IIB Developer with Hands-On Experience in IBM Integration Bus (v9, v10, or Later)
  • Strong Knowledge of ESQL, Java, and Message Flow Development
  • Experience with WebSphere MQ (MQ Series) and Messaging Concepts
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP Web Services
  • Understanding of Middleware Architecture and Integration Patterns
  • Experience with XML, JSON, and Related Data Transformation Techniques
  • Ability to Troubleshoot and Debug Complex Integration Issues
  • Good Communication Skills and Ability to Work Collaboratively in a Team Environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Related Field (or Equivalent Experience)
