Job Title: Search Solutions Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Search Solutions Architect to design and implement cutting-edge search solutions that utilize OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch in production environments, including expertise in AI/LLM-based search experiences and proficiency in Python, with a deep understanding of search concepts.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust search solutions that integrate custom analysers, tokenisers, and scoring algorithms.
  • Manage index and template lifecycle policies to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability.
  • Develop custom query builders and search pipelines tailored to complex business requirements.
  • Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for data enrichment and improved search relevance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality search experiences.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch in production environments.
  • Expertise in AI/LLM-based search experiences, including RAG, learning to rank, and query understanding.
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience building APIs and a deep understanding of search concepts.
  • Experience with index template management, lifecycle policies, and large-scale data modelling.
  • Strong testing background, including integration, regression, and performance testing.
