Job Title:

Project Tester

We are seeking a seasoned project tester to oversee the execution of testing strategies for data pipeline projects using Databricks, Data Factory pipelines and Power BI.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for project deployments.
  • Test data pipelines using Python, SQL, etc. and other tools.
  • Ensure accurate data warehouse migration with best-in-class testing methodologies.
  • Implement JIRA test management strategies for seamless testing operations.
  • Develop hands-on expertise in GitHub/Bitbucket version control, Jenkins automation, and BDD frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in ETL/ETL testing and at least 2+ years as a Test Lead. Strong experience in data validation techniques, solid understanding of SQL queries, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts is required.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of ETL workflows (Databricks, Data Factory workflows), SQL Data Warehouse, BI reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with X-Ray for JIRA test management and hands-on BDD framework implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective communication skills for collaborative problem-solving.
