Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to oversee the development of new product lines. As a key team member, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a robust engineering process.

The ideal candidate will be able to take charge of end-to-end engineering requirements for multiple product lines. If you have experience in software development and architecture, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a product roadmap with strategy and business teams, and drive its execution.
  • Serve as a thought leader on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  • Identify and deploy tools and processes to help engineers work efficiently and solve technology problems effectively.
  • Own all non-functional requirements for products.
  • Contribute to the selection and hiring of engineering team members.
  • Be responsible for product development, release, which includes architecture, design, development, testing, within agreed time frames.
Required Skills:
  • Experience in Agile software development methods would be highly desirable.
  • Well-versed in using off-the-shelf software components rather than building everything from scratch, if they meet requirements.
  • Hands-on and extremely confident with programming languages like TypeScript.
  • Worked with JavaScript-based front-end frameworks and back-end technologies like Node.js.
  • Well-versed in service-oriented architecture and built and deployed RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
  • Built and shipped features for high-traffic web applications and mobile applications.
  • Familiar with database management systems and NoSQL databases.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.

Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 12 - 20 years of relevant experience.
