Job Summary

Comcast is seeking a dynamic and experienced engineering leader to oversee engineering teams responsible for building cutting-edge software solutions. This position is responsible for fostering innovation, improving processes, and driving the successful delivery of high-quality software applications.

The engineering leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that scale effectively across various systems and platforms.

  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to junior and senior developers. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee engineering projects from concept to delivery, ensuring milestones are met, and quality is maintained. Collaborate with product management, design, and other teams to define requirements, priorities, and timelines.
  • Technical Leadership:
  • Drive technical decision-making across the team, ensuring adherence to best practices and design patterns. Provide hands-on guidance on complex technical challenges and help resolve blockers.
  • Innovation & Process Improvement:
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement through the adoption of new technologies, processes, and methodologies. Encourage experimentation and provide a platform for team members to propose new ideas.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to foster a collaborative team culture
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
