Job Title: Senior Software Engineering Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineering Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to lead and mentor a group of skilled software engineers in the development of innovative software products and solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

  • Lead Software Development Teams: Guide and direct a team of software engineers in the development of software products and solutions, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and support.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, ensure successful delivery, and drive innovation.
  • Mentor and Develop Team Members: Assist in the growth and development of team members through regular feedback, coaching, and career planning, helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the execution of the software engineering strategy, participating in strategic discussions and technology assessments to drive business outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In a relevant field, such as Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role, including experience in software engineering, leadership, and mentoring.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies, strong programming and debugging skills, and familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role, and ability to manage project tasks and assignments effectively.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Advanced Degree: An advanced degree in a related field is highly valued.
  • Certifications and Training: Relevant certifications or training can be beneficial for this role.
