CloudEagle SaaS Buyer Job Description

The IT Procurement Specialist/SaaS Acquisitions Professional will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, utilizing negotiation and savings execution to demonstrate software competencies. They will negotiate savings for all software products, including SaaS, Cloud, and Digital offerings. Additionally, they will leverage the CloudEagle platform to understand and fulfill customers' Software and SaaS requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate software and SaaS contracts of varying complexity, including financial, contractual, and commercial terms.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes and drive cost savings.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential vendors, evaluate product offerings, and negotiate pricing and terms.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects, contracts, and customers to deliver business value and mitigate contractual risk.

This position requires strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed purchasing decisions. A proven track record of success in sourcing and negotiating contracts for IT products and services is essential.

Requirements:
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and negotiating contracts for IT products and services.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Procurement.
  • Familiarity with major software vendors is an added advantage.
  • Strong customer-centric approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
