Job Description

The role of the Lead BIM Specialist is critical in driving the adoption and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to enhance the design, planning, and execution of precast construction projects.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing accurate BIM models for precast construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate BIM workflows into project execution.
  • Utilizing advanced modeling tools like Tekla to create detailed 3D models, perform clash detection, and generate construction documentation.
  • Establishing and enforcing BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the organization.
  • Providing technical guidance and training to team members on BIM tools and methodologies.
  • Coordinating with external stakeholders to ensure alignment on BIM deliverables.
  • Maintaining and evaluating the effectiveness of BIM implementation, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous innovation.
  • Supporting strategic planning and decision-making related to BIM adoption and technology investments.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of BIM outputs to meet project milestones and client expectations.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
