Global Market Estimator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to estimate granular product-level key performance metrics for investment banks, create market size estimates for investment and transaction banking products, and build relationships between macroeconomic indicators and investment banking performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate Key Performance Metrics: Estimate revenue and headcount data for investment banks, and create market size estimates for investment and transaction banking products.
  • Build Relationships Between Indicators: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the relationships between macroeconomic indicators and investment banking performance metrics to arrive at accurate forecasts and estimates.
  • Update and Restructure Data: Update and restructure revenue and headcount data based on qualitative and quantitative information from industry contacts.
  • Build Sector Databases: Create and maintain sector databases in Excel or customized applications.
  • Analyze and Communicate Results: Explain, defend, and customize Coalition analysis to support key client initiatives, and communicate research results through structured end-products such as spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.
  • Manage Ad Hoc Projects: Complete ad hoc research requests, knowledge building, and business development projects as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Proficiency in data analysis and modeling techniques, including the ability to estimate granular product-level key performance metrics.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the investment banking industry, including its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
