Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the success of our organization by providing exceptional support in legal matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract law and compliance, excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for assisting in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be involved in conducting legal research, supporting the preparation of briefs and reports, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to mitigate contractual risks and optimize terms that protect the organization's interests.

Additionally, the role involves monitoring and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, staying updated on legal developments, and providing guidance to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management & Legal Documentation:
    • Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
    • Conduct legal research and support the preparation of briefs and reports.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate contractual risks and optimize terms that protect the organization's interests.
  • Compliance:
    • Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Stay updated on legal developments, assess their impact, and provide guidance to the organization.
    • Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and audits.
  • Risk Mitigation:
    • Assist in identifying potential legal and regulatory risks, proactively assess their impact on the organization, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in-house experience or 2+ years of experience as a Senior Associate.
  • Completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
  • Strong understanding of legal principles and concepts, particularly in contract law and compliance.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
