Job Title: Firewall Support Specialist

This position provides exceptional customer service in a fast-paced multitasking environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience with network protocols, firewalls, and security systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service

    The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service to clients via phone, chat, or email. This includes resolving technical issues, answering questions, and escalating complex problems to senior team members.

  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving

    The Firewall Support Specialist will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to firewalls, VPNs, and other network security systems. This involves using established procedures, user manuals, and online resources to diagnose and fix problems.

  • Technical Skills and Knowledge

    The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, IPv4 & IPv6), firewalls (Meraki and Fortinet), and security systems. They should also be familiar with tools such as Ethereal (Wireshark) and able to interpret output from network traffic analysis tools.

    The selected candidate will participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field. This includes attending workshops, conferences, and online courses to enhance their skills and knowledge.
