Strategic Coal Mine Planner

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Coal Mine Planner to develop resource models, optimize pits, and create schedules. The successful candidate will prepare detailed project reports for mining blocks and create mining plans that meet statutory and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource modeling and pit optimization
  • Project report preparation (DPRs)
  • Mining plan creation (statutory and operational)
  • Feasibility studies and exploration program coordination
  • Heavy equipment requirement determination
  • Liaison with statutory bodies for clearances and approvals
  • Data provision for environmental and forest clearance

Candidate Profile:

  • High academic achievement (60% and above throughout education)
  • B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Mining Engineering or relevant field, with 10+ years of experience
  • Expertise in project planning and tracking tools (MS Project, Primavera, Auto-CAD)
  • Demonstrated leadership in mining approvals, commencement, and operations
  • Strong understanding of statutory clearances and relevant Acts, regulations, and government guidelines
