Cloud Services Engineer Job Description

Our organization is seeking an experienced Cloud Services Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and monitoring on-premises and cloud infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Technologies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage medium to large-scale global enterprise network topologies using Microsoft virtualization technologies.
  • Deploy and maintain wireless networks in remote buildings and corporate offices.
  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure to support cloud migration and delivery of technology solutions using Azure resources.
  • Support and manage Office 365 users and Hybrid Exchange Server Configuration.
  • Deploy and manage OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Environments.
  • Manage Active Directory 2019 and newer.
  • Support key services including DNS, DHCP, File Services.
  • Deploy and manage Azure Solutions and Services.
  • Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune solutions using Autopilot.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in supporting servers and operating systems Windows 2019 and above.
  • Understand Veeam or other Backup and Replication technologies.
  • Have working knowledge of VLANs, IPSEC Tunnels and Protocols, Virtual Networks, and Routing & Switching.
  • Understand Physical Network Infrastructure, Layer 1 Networking, and Internet Service Providers.
  • Partner with internal construction teams and external vendors to deliver technical deployments associated with building systems and technologies.
  • Participate in Incident Response activities and identify root cause, assist with threat remediation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar.
  • Proficiency in operating systems Windows Server and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and IT best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in O365 Administration, Backup Configurations, and VM.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms like Azure.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are desirable.
