Job Description

As a Publisher Yield Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing the revenue potential of our publisher network.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing publisher profit and loss statements to ensure optimal yield performance
  • Communicating effectively with publishers and internal departments to address their needs and monetization strategies
  • Ensuring ad requests and inventory settings are optimal, collaborating with Dev on publisher releases as needed
  • Providing publisher ad layout recommendations to maximize yield and publisher KPIs
  • Onboarding new publishers, working with SSPs to get sites whitelisted and enhancing yield through Pub Ops
  • Monitoring yield based on demand source by inventory/product
  • Optimizing partner and publisher performance, as well as revenue streams, to enhance partner set-ups and increase revenue opportunities
  • Proficiently managing DFP and SSP system settings for optimal yield setups, SSP block lists, and flooring
  • Reporting on publisher weekly KPIs, weekly SSP reporting, block list reporting, and partner billing and reconciliation
  • Managing PMP deals and optimizing them for best performance
  • Analyzing publisher and SSP data to report to Pub Dev and Programmatic Supervisor
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Technology, or Business Intelligence
  • MBA or Master's degree a plus
  • 2-3 years of experience in online advertising/web analytics, with a focus on one or more of the following job functions: Traffic Analyst, Account Management, Yield Management, Campaign Management, Publisher Operations/Development, Ad Operations, Data Analytics
  • Experience with DFP ad server
  • Knowledge of SSP UI/Applications (e.g. Index, OpenX, Appnexus)
  • Experience with Header Bidding Ad Tech
  • Proven ability to manage a team and relationships
  • Solid track record of attention to detail and organization skills
