Job Title: Telecom Project Lead

  • Overview:

The role of a telecom project lead is to drive the delivery of complex projects within the telecom sector.

  • We are seeking an experienced project manager who can oversee multiple customer-driven telecom projects, focusing on delivering solutions utilizing cloud engineering, DevOps, and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery Leadership:
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality telecom projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to ensure architectural and operational requirements are integrated into project plans.
  • Technical Expertise and Strategy:
  • Implement best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps to enhance infrastructure and application deployment strategies specific to telecom environments.
  • Develop strategic relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and convert them into project goals and deliverables.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication of project progress.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • At least 7 years of experience in project management within the IT and telecom sectors, with a focus on cloud engineering, DevOps, and embedded systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams in a high-pressure environment.
    • Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, including but not limited to 4G/5G networks, IoT, and network security.
    • Proficient in agile project management tools and methodologies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certifications such as PMP, Agile Scrum Master, or ITIL.
    • Previous experience in a client-facing role within an IT services company.
    • Proven track record of successful project delivery with tangible outcomes.
