Senior Paraplanner Position
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our remote team as a Senior Paraplanner. This role is designed for an experienced individual who can independently manage complex tasks, work in a fast-paced environment, and contribute significantly to the development of strategic advice solutions.

The Ideal Candidate
You will be expected to operate across technical advice preparation, client implementation, and strategy development, working closely with senior advisers. Key Responsibilities:
  • Paraplanning & Advice Support:
    • Prepare compliant, technically sound Statements of Advice (SoAs) and Records of Advice (RoAs).
    • Conduct detailed financial modeling, legislative research, and product analysis.
    • Use software to construct advice documents according to standards.
  • Strategy Paper Development:
    • Build and draft comprehensive financial strategy papers outlining the rationale, benefits, risks, and implementation approach for recommended strategies.
    • Translate complex financial scenarios into clear, client-ready written strategies.
    • Collaborate with advisers to refine and present strategy documentation during the advice process.
  • Implementation & Client Workflow:
    • Execute full pre-boarding, onboarding, and implementation of client strategies.
    • Manage rollovers, contributions, investment switches, insurance applications, and other advice actions from start to finish.
    • Communicate with clients and providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all implementation tasks.
  • Systems & Process Management:
    • Utilize software for advice production and CRM tracking.
    • Leverage automation tools to manage workflows, communications, and efficiency.
    • Identify and improve operational bottlenecks to drive efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in paraplanning or technical financial advice support roles.
  • Strong understanding of Australian financial regulations, compliance, and client strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing detailed strategy papers and advice narratives.
  • Advanced working knowledge of XPLAN and GoHighLevel.
  • Excellent written English and technical communication skills.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Proven ability to take ownership, work autonomously, and deliver results at a high standard.
  • Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Accounting, Business, or related field (preferred but not essential).
