Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade Compliance Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all freight forwarding and logistics transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations, including sanctions and export controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply applicable sanctions regimes to global freight forwarding and logistics transactions
  • Conduct thorough reviews of potential sanctions and export control risks
  • Communicate with business lines to address compliance concerns
  • Evaluate and mitigate potential risks associated with third-party relationships
  • Develop and implement effective trade compliance strategies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., law, international relations, business)
  • Certification in trade compliance or a related field (e.g., ICA, ACAMS, ACSS)
  • Strong knowledge of economic sanctions and export controls, including US, UK, and EU regimes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
