Manual Testing Specialist

About the Role:

This position involves planning, designing, and executing test cases to ensure software meets required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Document and track software defects with clear reporting.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze test results, provide feedback, and recommend improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and defect management tools.
  • Proficiency in writing test cases, bug reports, and test documentation.
  • Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile methodologies.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and relevant certification preferred. They should also have 4–7 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, preferably in telecom or enterprise applications, with experience in telecom software or network management systems being a strong plus.

This role requires a solid background in testing enterprise applications, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A passion for ensuring high-quality software products is essential for success in this position.
