Mainframe Application Tester

We are seeking a seasoned professional to test and validate our mainframe applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct manual and automation testing of mainframe applications using JCL, COBOL, SQL, and other relevant tools.
  • Design and execute test scenarios, cases, and scripts using automation tools such as Rest Assured or Karate, Selenium, and Cucumber.
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of testing lifecycle and core testing processes/techniques using different test approaches.
  • Provide estimates, write test scenarios, cases, and execute test cases, open bugs, and verify bugs.
  • Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to communicate status and progress of allocated activities.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in QA manual and automation, with a focus on mainframe testing.
  • Strong analytical capability and excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of the Banking Industry and familiarity with JIRA.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Favorable Qualifications:
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps using Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Java programming language.
