Cloud Network Infrastructure Leader

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network Infrastructure Leader with a proven track record in data center networking and software defined networking (SDN) in a private cloud & virtualization domain.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cloud Network Architecting: Design, install, maintain, and manage the equipment needed to provide Cloud Network Infrastructure including physical and SDN network framework.
  2. Network Performance Optimization: Ensure high availability, flexibility, and network performance while maintaining SLA.
  3. Infrastructure Documentation Management: Maintain, audit, review, and update infrastructure documentation.
  4. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  5. Team Leadership: Oversee a team of Network Engineers, provide technical expertise and guidance where required. Evaluate team member performance and provide feedback.
  6. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Proactively monitor and analyze key performance metrics and trends to assess risks and business impact.
  7. Solution Presentations and Proposals: Prepare, review, and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.
  8. Technical Validation Activities: Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities including Proof Of Concept.

Requirements:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless.
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching, QoS, Network monitoring Protocols & Tools, and SDN Technologies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly narrow down and resolve problems.
  • Highly motivated individual who is a self-starter and can demonstrate effective project management and completion of complex network tasks with little guidance.
  • Motivated learner – ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.
