Overview:

We seek a seasoned expert in network and database management to join our team on a contract basis. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking, compute, storage, and database services.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain OCI networking, compute, storage, and database services.
  • Support database migration from on-premises to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Develop, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize Oracle databases and associated applications.
  • Monitor and enhance performance, security, and availability of database systems.
  • Ensure robust backup and recovery strategies using OCI tools.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and provide support during implementation and testing phases.
  • Enforce governance and compliance policies within OCI.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in OCI projects, including networking and database management. Key skills include strong hands-on abilities with OCI Console, CLI, and APIs, as well as proficiency with IaaS, Terraform, and Ansible. Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database 19c and Oracle E-Business Suite v12.2 is also required. Additionally, the candidate should have familiarity with Oracle Middleware, WebLogic Suite, and Exadata Cloud Service, as well as experience with cloud CI/CD tools.
