Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to design and implement test strategies for Sonic builds, validate Sonic performance across routing, switching, and platform-level features.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust testing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Sonic fundamentals, including foundations, test architecture design, and CLI/commands.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in setting up Sonic servers and builds, as well as familiarity with Layer 2 protocols (VLAN, STP, LACP, LLDP, ARP) /Layer 3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP, VRRP, ECMP). Experience troubleshooting ASIC/Syncd failures and Redis database anomalies is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in network testing and automation
  • Strong expertise in Sonic fundamentals, including foundations, test architecture design, and CLI/commands
  • Hands-on experience in setting up Sonic servers and builds
  • Familiarity with Layer 2 protocols (VLAN, STP, LACP, LLDP, ARP) /Layer 3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP, VRRP, ECMP)
  • Experience troubleshooting ASIC/Syncd failures and Redis database anomalies
