About This Role:



We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Director to lead our Steam Turbine Production team at Siemens Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy engineering, with experience in project planning, execution, and delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing projects based on customer requirements, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and costs.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Plan and execute projects from start to finish, ensuring that all engineering, procurement, and manufacturing activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.


Requirements:




  • B.E. or B.Tech. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable college.
  • 6-8 years of experience in heavy engineering industry, with a proven track record of project delivery and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of power plants and steam turbines, with a deep understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
