Senior Underwriting Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned underwriting professional to lead our team and drive business growth in the reinsurance industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting treaty reinsurance contracts across multiple lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of underwriters to ensure timely and accurate delivery of support and services.
  • Evaluate treaty terms, conditions, and pricing structures to assess risks and profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support day-to-day activities and meet agreed KPIs.
  • Maintain adherence to underwriting authority guidelines, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • At least 8 years of experience in reinsurance and treaty underwriting.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in treaty reinsurance contract evaluation, analysis, and interpretation.
