Position: Business Development Lead – Prime Home Loans
Role Overview:
- As a Business Development Lead for Prime Home Loans, you'll be at the forefront of propelling the growth and success of our prime home loan products. Your role is multifaceted, encompassing strategic planning, product development, market analysis, and team leadership. We're seeking someone with a profound understanding of the housing finance landscape, regulatory frameworks, and customer preferences to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications:
- Education: Postgraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field from a prestigious institution. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Demonstrated track record of at least 10+ years in a senior leadership role within the housing finance industry, with a specific focus on Prime Home Loans. Thorough knowledge of mortgage lending principles, regulations, and market dynamics is essential.
Key Competencies & Skills:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for Prime Home Loans, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends. Continuously assess market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Product Development: Lead the development and enhancement of prime home loan products, collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, risk, compliance, and technology. Utilize customer feedback, market research, and data analysis to inform product features and pricing strategies.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify target segments, assess customer needs, and evaluate demand for prime home loan products. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product performance and market share, implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing prime home lending activities. Work closely with the compliance and risk teams to establish robust controls, manage credit risk, and maintain portfolio quality.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals responsible for prime home loan origination, underwriting, and servicing. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning to drive team performance and achieve business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, operations, and senior management, to drive alignment and support for prime home lending initiatives. Collaborate with external partners such as real estate agents, mortgage brokers, and industry associations to expand distribution channels and enhance market presence.
- Customer Experience: Champion a customer-centric approach to product design and service delivery, ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the home loan lifecycle. Solicit feedback from customers and frontline staff to identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
