Intellectual Property Rights Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) expert to lead our IPR strategy and implementation.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive IPR plans, ensuring seamless integration with business objectives.
  • Advise clients on IP protection, enforcement, and commercialization strategies, leveraging expertise in patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs.
  • Manage the drafting, review, and filing of IP applications, oppositions, assignments, and licensing agreements, maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Represent clients in high-stakes IPR litigation and enforcement actions, possessing strong advocacy skills and industry knowledge.
  • Conduct thorough IP due diligence, freedom to operate analysis, and infringement assessments, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external counsels, authorities, and international associates, facilitating cross-border collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge development and quality delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law (LL.B / LL.M). A registered Patent Agent is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in IP law, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal team.
  • Proven track record in managing complex IPR portfolios and leading high-profile litigation cases.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-handling abilities.
