This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with an inclusive team that celebrates diverse perspectives. Together, you'll ship features that land in real classrooms, measure success by the smiles and 'aha' moments of Deaf learners across India, and foster a supportive team culture.

As a valuable member of our team, you will contribute to building learner and teacher dashboards in Next.js (TypeScript, Node.js, App Router, React Server Components). You will also design secure Supabase edge functions, Auth flows, and storage with Row-Level Security.

You will model and optimize content, progress, and analytics data in MongoDB (indexes, aggregation pipelines). Additionally, you will integrate real-time captioning and sign-language video assets, creating data pipelines for AI models.

Furthermore, you will write unit/integration tests (Vitest/Jest, Playwright) and perform peer code reviews. To ensure optimal performance, you will profile performance, shrink bundle sizes, and maintain cross-browser compatibility.

Collaboration with Operations to roll out releases to partner Deaf schools, gather feedback, and squash production bugs quickly is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Pursuing/completed a CS-related degree or equivalent self-taught experience; we prioritize practical experience.
  • 6+ months hands-on with React/Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Working knowledge of Supabase (Auth, Postgres, Storage) or strong SQL fundamentals.
  • Basic proficiency in MongoDB CRUD, schema design, and aggregation.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub flow and modern JS tooling (pnpm or yarn, eslint, prettier).
