We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Loan Servicing Representative to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the servicing of commercial real estate, construction loans, and problem loans
- Identifying opportunities to improve loan processing within established procedures
- Performing routine administrative, transactional, operational, and customer support tasks
- Entering data, processing payments, and loan coding changes, monitoring, researching, and correcting exception reports, auditing the system of record, and processing cash management transactions
- Receiving direction from supervisors and escalating non-routine client concerns to experienced individuals
- Interacting with internal and external customers to respond to raised concerns and determine the appropriate course of action
- Serving as an intermediary between parties to resolve disputed matters, negotiating, and enacting settlements accordingly
We are looking for candidates with:
- 6+ months of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
Candidates with the following qualifications will be highly valued:
- Master's Degree in Finance and Accounting
- Business and accounting skills
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Excellent English comprehension, written, and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately process high volumes of work within established deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to set priorities, plan, and organize work
- Good team player qualities
- Sound risk management mindset and good understanding of compliance
- Demonstrates/maintains professional conduct under all circumstances
- Knowledge of GAAP Accounting
- Quick learner
- Highly motivated individual who is able to work well independently and in a team environment
- Ability to recognize and escalate issues to management for any process breaches
- Ability to multitask to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining acceptable standards of workmanship
- Flexibility to stretch to accomplish projects timely
