Job Role Overview:

A Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems is required to deliver high-quality design output across various project types.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of design concepts, creating detailed designs, performing engineering calculations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Project Scope Elements: Deliver project scope elements in compliance with project objectives, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Lead Design Development: Lead and support concept, schematic, and detailed design development of HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
  • Perform Engineering Calculations: Perform engineering calculations for HVAC loads, PHE, and Firefighting systems; select suitable systems and equipment.
  • Develop Design Drawings: Develop design drawings, specifications, BOQs, and reports using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, HAP, and BIM360.
  • Ensure QA/QC Compliance: Ensure peer review and QA/QC compliance of design deliverables as per company procedures.
  • Coordinate Multidisciplinary Teams: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure completeness, accuracy, and integration of design outputs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering:
  • Total Work Experience: 5–10 years of total experience (minimum 2–6 years on Gulf design projects).
  • HVAC System Design Knowledge: Strong knowledge and experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting system design.
  • Proficiency in Design Software: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, HAP & BIM360 platforms.
  • Engineering Code Understanding: Good understanding of engineering codes, standards, and authorities' regulations.
