Job Description

As a RAN Engineer, you will play a key role in driving and supporting various technologies related tasks and deliveries in Managed Services Operations. You will be responsible for monitoring and resolving jeopardy alerts in a timely manner within defined SLA, assisting engineers with any requirements to execute work, and carrying out initial ticket triage regarding fault requests.

  • Carry out initial ticket triage regarding fault requests and provide analysis to ensure onward L2 escalation is accurate.

You will also be responsible for appending all tickets with concise and appropriate notes on activities taken to make work executable, accessing requests, confirmation, and approval dates and times, and references etc. Additionally, you will lead the team, handle customer calls, emergency bridges, and ensure prompt escalation to management whenever deemed applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess knowledge of RAN 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network KPIs and be able to promptly analyze, report, and resolve issues. You should also have general understanding of call flows, channel concepts, cell site-related issues, and broad knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system. Ericsson Huawei configuration experience is essential.

  • Degree within Electrical Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
  • Years of experience: 1-4 years.
