We are seeking a seasoned Java Developer to lead application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment, and maintenance.

The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, with 2-4 years of overall IT experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Maintain and enhance high-scale applications from backend to UI layer, focusing on operational excellence, security, and scalability.
  • Solve problems with medium complexity.
  • Apply modern software development practices, such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/troubleshoot/resolving them by analyzing sources and impact on network or service operations.
  • Work across teams to integrate systems with existing internal systems, Data Fabric, and CSA Toolset.
  • Document code and processes for seamless handover.
  • Participate in estimation, project planning, user story grooming, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of overall IT experience.
  • 2+ years experience working with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • 2+ years experience with source code management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, GitHub), CICD, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code.
  • 2+ years experience with software build management tools like Maven or Gradle.
Desirable Skills:
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Awareness of latest technologies and trends.
  • Career graph showing willingness to learn and grow.
  • UI development skills (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap).
  • Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP).
  • Relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, GitHub).
  • Developing with modern JDK (v1.7+).
