Senior Backend Software Engineer Position

This is a challenging and rewarding senior-level Java developer role in our dynamic Development Team. As an experienced professional, you will be well-placed to make significant contributions to the mobile payments industry by bringing engineering excellence in innovating new features and functions in customer-centric applications.

You will analyze product requirements, design implementations, and participate in integration testing. Your role will involve working with a very innovative, dedicated, and high-performance team to deliver world-class banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices for fintech and payment systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
  • Lead the design of system architecture and database schema for complex, data-driven applications.
  • Continuously optimize code and infrastructure for performance, scalability, maintainability, and cost-efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
  • Proficiency with Oracle DB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including complex queries and database performance optimization.
  • Deep understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
