Job Opportunity for Senior Backend Developer

At our organization, we're seeking a seasoned and experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to take on the role of crafting and maintaining scalable backend services. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We're looking for an expert in designing, developing, and optimizing backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with building and maintaining RESTful APIs, focusing on performance, security, and scalability.
  • Strong expertise in SQL/MySQL is required, with the ability to design schemas, optimize queries, and enhance database performance.
  • This position also requires the ability to resolve complex technical issues in production environments through debugging and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary for working closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA teams to ensure seamless feature delivery.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing CI/CD pipelines and overseeing smooth deployments.
  • Furthermore, this individual will guide junior developers through code reviews and participate in architecture discussions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of backend development experience with Java is required.
  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and REST APIs is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/MySQL (indexes, joins, query optimization, data modeling) is necessary.
  • Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills for production systems are required.
  • Experience with Kafka, Redis, NoSQL databases is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices (Agile, CI/CD, TDD) is essential.
