Quality Assurance Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance professional to join our organization. In this position, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our product meets the highest standards of quality across design, development, and delivery.

You'll work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to embed quality into every stage of the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in feature design, story refinement, and risk assessment from the outset.
  • Review and contribute to user stories, acceptance criteria, and behavior-driven development scenarios.
  • Conduct a wide range of testing: exploratory, regression, security, cross-browser, accessibility, and API testing.
  • Raise clear and concise defects, providing actionable reporting.
  • Support release cycles through smoke testing and stakeholder demos.
  • Contribute to test automation strategies using tools like Cucumber and Cypress.
  • Continuously improve QA processes and champion quality best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in web and API testing.
  • Strong background in exploratory testing with clear reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with agile practices like behavior-driven development, test-driven development, and example/event mapping.
  • Knowledge of user experience, user interface, accessibility, performance, and security testing.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira Zephyr, Postman/Insomnia, BrowserStack, and browser debugging tools.
  • Experience with test case management, design, and planning.
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to financial systems testing.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks (Cucumber, Cypress).
  • Understanding of containerized applications (e.g., Docker).
