We are seeking a seasoned Principal Software Quality Assurance (SQA) engineer to join our world-class software engineering team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for solving important customer problems and delivering impactful results in a fast-paced environment.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to all phases of end-to-end product and solution validation, working closely with PM, TME, Customer Support teams to understand customer use cases.

  • Work in a small team to solve complex customer problems and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to testing of Layer 2/3 networking protocols, routing protocols, SD-WAN solutions, and other related technologies.
  • Own the test strategy, architecture, and execution plans for enterprise-scale SD-WAN solutions.
  • Be able to build and maintain complex networking testbeds.
  • Expertise with performance characterization of networking products and proficient in using traffic generators, protocol analyzers, and monitoring tools.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10-18 years of relevant experience in SQA engineering, with a BS or MS degree.
  • Expertise with standard TCP/IP protocols, such as ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, and IPSec VPNs.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi, qemu/kvm, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset.
