Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned expert to join our team as a User Retention Strategist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing proactive strategies to prevent user churn and re-activate lapsed listeners.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user behavior and analytics, with a proven track record of designing and launching successful retention campaigns. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address key pain points, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • At-Risk User Intervention (Churn Prevention): Identify listeners showing signs of disengagement or a high risk of churning, and develop targeted campaigns to re-engage them.
  • Lapsed User Reactivation (Win-Back Strategy): Design and execute end-to-end strategies to bring back churned subscribers, including segmenting users based on past listening behavior and time since churn.
  • Analytics & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Own and report on key KPIs, translating performance data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of focused experience in churn management, user reactivation, or save strategies, ideally within a B2C subscription or mobile app business.
  • Innovative problem-solver with creative approach to tackling complex challenges.
  • Hands-on campaign execution using marketing automation platforms.
  • Analytically sharp with strong proficiency in SQL and product analytics tools.
  • A passion for music and audio is essential.
