Our Data Engineering role offers a chance to be part of our cross-functional team and make a significant impact on our data operations.We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to stabilize and enhance our existing data pipeline infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python for data engineering tasks, familiarity with Apache tools/frameworks (Airflow, Spark, Hadoop, etc.), and experience with data modeling, ETL, and pipeline performance tuning.The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying root causes of pipeline failures, implementing fixes, and optimizing data flows to ensure consistent and reliable delivery. They will work closely with our teams to ensure smooth and timely data delivery.Key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving issues in existing pipelines to prevent failures and improve uptime, redesigning or enhancing workflows for better reliability and scalability, developing and maintaining data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes using Python and Apache tools, and documenting processes and implementing monitoring tools for early issue detection.To succeed in this role, you will need hands-on experience managing data pipelines (especially scheduled/batch-based workflows), strong expertise in Python for data engineering tasks, familiarity with Apache tools/frameworks, experience with data modeling, ETL, and pipeline performance tuning, and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is an advantage.
