Credit Analysis:
  • Evaluate credit reports to determine borrowers' creditworthiness.
  • Analyse financial statements, tax returns, pay stubs, and other income documentation.
  • Calculate debt-to-income (DTI) ratios and loan-to-value (LTV) ratios.
Property Valuation Review:
  • Review appraisals for conformity to client specifications and assess property valuation accuracy.
Risk Assessment and Compliance:
  • Ensure all loans comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Adhere to industry guidelines and company policies.
  • Identify potential risks and assess overall risk level of each loan.

Required skills include a bachelor's degree, experience in mortgage processing or underwriting, knowledge of mortgage regulations, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proficiency in mortgage software, effective communication, and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
