Job Title: Plant and Machinery Operations Expert

This role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and operation of plant and machinery equipment. If you have experience in managing complex projects and leading teams, this could be the ideal position for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Erect and dismantle plant and machinery equipment as required.
  2. Develop effective methodologies for equipment erection and operation.
  3. Optimize spare parts inventory to minimize costs.
  4. Sources skilled personnel, such as plant and machinery operators and mechanics.
  5. Generate local management information systems (MIS) for Mechanical Heads or Project In-charges.
  6. Maintain accurate site records of equipment, including log books and preventive maintenance records.
  7. Prepare budget estimates for spares and running expenses for each machine and monitor them monthly.
  8. Train personnel on safe equipment usage to avoid accidents and mishaps.
  9. Ensure optimal use of plant and machinery corresponding to their rated productivity output.
  10. Maintain minimum equipment breakdowns and maximum availability at sites.
  11. Create service schedules based on hours/km running and implement them strictly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience.
