Machinery Operations Engineer - Food Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Machinery Operations Engineer with a strong background in food manufacturing to operate and monitor machinery as per standard operating procedures (SOPs), set up, calibrate, and adjust machines to ensure accurate and efficient production.

  • Operate and monitor machinery used in nutraceutical manufacturing as per SOPs.
  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain product quality standards during machine operations in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
  • Record machine operating data, production outputs, and downtime logs accurately.
  • Ensure material feeding, changeovers, and line clearance are carried out as per requirements.
  • Report and escalate equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or abnormalities promptly.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with the engineering team.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment following Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and safety standards.
  • Assist during audits, inspections, and documentation verification.

Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and hygienic practices.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GHP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to conduct and document in-process checks accurately.
  • Attention to detail, ownership, and adherence to SOPs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, quality assurance (QA), and maintenance teams.
