Manufacturing Operations Leadership

  • Develop and execute end-to-end manufacturing plans across Production, Assembly, Fabrication, Paint Shop, and Machine Shop.
  • Ensure timely execution of manufacturing operations with focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.

Supply Chain Management

  • Lead procurement and vendor management for raw materials, consumables, and bought-outs to ensure robust sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with stores and planning teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.

Production Planning and Control

  • Develop monthly and weekly production schedules based on sales forecasts and available resources.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely material availability and production readiness.

Quality Assurance

  • Oversee quality assurance processes, audits, and implementation of corrective actions to ensure products meet company and statutory quality standards.
  • Work with internal teams on continual improvement and reduction of non-conformances.

Strategic Operations and Continuous Improvement

  • Champion lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Lead strategic operations planning and implementation in alignment with company goals.

People Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and team leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.

ERP Technology Enablement

  • Ensure full utilization of ERP (preferably MS Dynamics NAV/Business Central) across departments.
  • Implement data-driven decision making and digital tools to improve operational visibility.

Health Safety and Environment

  • Ensure strict adherence to factory safety norms and EHS compliance.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and preventive practices across all levels.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 20–25 years of relevant manufacturing experience in capital equipment, machinery, or engineering industries.
  • Age criteria - 45-50 years preferred.
  • Hands-on exposure to fabrication, machining, and machine assembly shop floors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with Indian labour laws, vendor ecosystems, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Preferably from Gujarat or neighbouring states for ease of relocation and language familiarity.
