Director of Permitting Role

The Director of Permitting is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the entire permitting process from start to finish.

This includes developing and implementing comprehensive permitting strategies, managing teams, and ensuring seamless project execution while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a permitting strategy that aligns with business goals, set clear objectives, performance metrics, and strategic priorities for the permitting team.
  • US Telecom Permitting Expertise: Leverage experience in US mainland telecommunications market to navigate complex federal, state, and local permitting requirements, ensuring compliance with FCC, state public utility commissions, and local zoning ordinances.
  • Permit Acquisition: Lead the identification, preparation, submission, and acquisition of necessary permits from local, state, and federal authorities, conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments to determine permit requirements.
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire permitting lifecycle, ensuring all project requirements are met on time and within budget, manage project timelines, resource allocation, milestone tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, municipalities, utilities, and other stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns, negotiating requirements, and resolving conflicts.
